Remarkable organizations achieve an emotional connection that resonates deeply within us. Think about how Apple, Tesla, Google, AirBnB, Charity:Water, and Kiva have impacted the 21st century. These corporations are authentic with their purpose and it’s evident within their teams, branding, products and services. They know why they exist and use their purpose to direct how they hire, create cultures, and navigate shifting markets. The end result of this cohesion is remarkable.
The average organization starts with the intention of a service, product or cause. It begins with a struggle, and once the tipping point is passed, momentum takes over. After some time strains begin to show: maybe the team isn’t working together as well as they used to, or customer service is suffering, or sales are sagging, or those innovative ideas just don’t flow anymore. Something feels off. When things go off course it gets stressful, maybe even scary. And if you’re feeling it, you can be sure your team is feeling it too.
We believe every organization can be remarkable. But it takes courage to get there. Change can seem scary when you’re stuck in a place of uncertainty. If you can find the courage to talk then we can find a way to get unstuck and that momentum you once had can be felt again.
With a renewed sense of vision comes a refreshed team who works enthusiastically toward a common cause. A great team will stand by you and reinvigorate your organization. Creative ideas will start to flow, new revenue models will evolve, and in this hyper connected age of social media, you will have a compelling story to tell. As you move with purpose, investors, funders, donors, customers, and even potential team members will all move towards your remarkable organization.
All it takes is the courage to change.
If you're ready for change, we’re ready to talk.
Three talented people, three radically different perspectives, one common purpose.
Chris is the ultimate people developer. She combines her 25 years of work and lived experience as well as her formal education together to bring the best to her clients. She is quirky, outgoing, dynamic and loves to play with teams as they build the best version of themselves. Not wanting an office but instead a swing to play on, she is mostly non-traditional and likes to help people find their true selves in their work in order that they may realize what being authentic can achieve. She has learned that people need to feel a sense of belonging and that it’s necessary to have purpose and meaning for success at work and a flourishing personal life. Chris is known for her big smile and warm heart.
Shawn is the consummate builder. Over his 25 year career he has graduated from building computers to networks, teams, companies and communities. Along the way he has developed a deep appreciation for the mechanics of motivation, communication, interaction and innovation. This manifests itself in his passion for marketing, branding, corporate culture and community building. Shawn holds the conviction that there is a strong link between a team’s environment, success in attraction/retention, personal development, products, services and brand strategies. He believes successful organizations use culture as the mortar to bind these bricks together.
Jean-Paul has (somewhat begrudgingly) earned the title of “numbers guy” in our partnership, since his work is hallmarked by Lord Kelvin’s axiom that “to measure is to know”. He often finds the clues we’ve been looking for buried in mounds of data he has somehow been able to clean up and analyse, hitting to the core of an issue through a welter of details. His forte is spotting opportunities for commercialization, and nothing brings him greater pleasure than bringing disruptive new ideas to market. Not all nerd however, Jean-Paul has also been a successful entrepreneur and senior executive with over a decade's experience in marketing and strategic fields in North America, Asia and Africa.
